Country houses in the Sacred Valley
This is the studio's main specialty. We design country houses that combine Andean materials, stone, wood, adobe and Venetian plaster, with contemporary massing. Projects usually range between 80 and 300 m², in the Sacred Valley and its surroundings.
Where we work
We have developed country houses in Pisac, Huasao, Cuyo Chico, San Salvador and Loreto. Knowing the site and its orientation is part of the commission: the topography of the Sacred Valley, the views and the sun path shape the massing from the first sketch.
How we work with materials
We reinterpret the traditional from a contemporary perspective. Local stone, wood and adobe sit alongside finishes such as textured Venetian plaster or wood-textured ceramic, depending on what each project and each budget calls for.
What the commission includes
Site survey, schematic design, construction documents including architecture, structure and services, and construction supervision if the client requires it. We work in BIM, which reduces clashes between disciplines before reaching the site.
